Determining Your Band Size

Start by knowing your measurements. In order to find your band size, measure around your chest, just under your arms and above your bust. Round to the nearest whole number. If the number is even, add four inches. If the number is odd, add five inches. This is your band size.

Determining Your Cup Size

To find your cup size, measure around your chest at the fullest part of your bust. Again, round to the nearest whole number. Subtract your band size from this number. The difference will correspond to a letter, with one inch being an A, two inches being a B, and so on.

Determining Your Bra Size

Now that you have your measurements, you can use a size chart to determine your bra size. If you’re between sizes, consider going up a size in the band and down a size in the cup.

Determine What Fits Best

Once you have your bra size, it’s time to try on some bras! Start with a few basic styles in your size to see what fits best. Pay attention to how the band feels and whether the cups are too big or too small. The band should be snug but not too tight, and the cups should completely encapsulate your breasts without spilling over or leaving gaps.

Don’t Be Afraid To Ask A Professional

If you’re having trouble finding a well-fitting bra, don’t hesitate to consult with a professional. Many lingerie stores have knowledgeable staff who can help you find the perfect bra. And don’t forget to get fitted regularly, as your body changes over time so your bra size may change as well.
